Gerry O’Sullivan

GerryGerry is a Practitioner Mediator with the Mediators’Institute of Ireland and is trained and certified in Organizational & Workplace Mediation, Separating Couples Mediation, Community Mediation and in Civil & Commercial Mediation.  She delivers Mediators’ Institute of Ireland accredited Certified Mediation Training.

Gerry has a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education from NUI Maynooth and has worked as an assessor of trainers for that body. She has also worked in the identification of training needs for students of Maynooth. She has delivered Training for Trainers programmes, she has provided Support and Supervision for trainers and she has adapted training programmes for radio presentation.  Gerry has delivered Interest Based Bargaining (Management and Union Negotiations) with John O’Dowd Consultants Ltd. .

Gerry was awarded a Diploma in Equality and Diversity in the Workplace with NUI Galway. She is on an approved panel of consultants with the Equality Authority delivering training and consultancy through Equality at the Level of Enterprise and is trained in the conduction of investigations into Bullying and Harassment.

Gerry O’Sullivan has attended training with INCORE, University of Ulster on The Evaluation and Assessment of Peace Interventions. She has assisted in the delivery of advanced Mediation training in Beograde, Serbia and assisted in the establishment of a Mediators Beyond Borders Chapter in Beograd university. Part of the work in Serbia was researching the peace building needs of Serbs living in Kosovo.  Gerry has spent many months volunteering in Hebron in the West Bank and has directed, filmed and produced Stolen Children, Stolen Lives, a documentary about the abuse, detention and imprisonment of Palestinian children.

Carina Furlong

Carina FurlongCarina is founder and director of Butterfly Coaching and Training.Through extensive interviewing & profiling of successful female leaders, Carina has developed an inside view of what is required to develop effective female leadership talent and has become a leading catalyst for change in the promotion of female leadership. She has recently had her research ‘Successful Irish Female Leaders: Developing a Model Of Excellence’ published in research journal ‘Acuity- Enhancing and Advancing Neuro Linguistic Programming’.

As an expert consultant on women and the workplace, she employs strategies and systems to discover, develop and leverage the power of top female talent and create the right gender mix to optimize organisational performance.

She also works as a mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation on their ‘Women in Business Programme’ which is an innovative programme that combines mentoring with technology to unlock the potential of women entrepreneurs in Africa, South Asia and the Middle East.

Currently Carina has just finished an MA programme in Coaching and NLP accredited through Kingston University, UK which is the worlds first academic Masters degree in this field.

As a certified trainer and facilitator she delivers a range of training workshops including Coach Training, Team development and Female Leadership Programmes. Her expertise lies in her passion for her work, working at a behavioural level with clients and delivering results. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation.

Austin Kenny

An independent mediator and business consultant with a strong accountancy and business background. He has conducted mediations in Ireland the U.K. across a broad range of sectors including property, manufacturing and retail sectors, with case values ranging from 0 to 10 million Euros.

He has been a practitioner member of MII and panel member of International Mediators Institute (IMI) since 2009, a panel member of ICMA since 2005 and completed the conflict management coaching certificate in 2011.

Prior to becoming an independent mediator Austin owned and managed his own accountancy and business consultancy practice for 20 years. He  has significant expertise and experience across a rich portfolio of professional services including accounting, audit, forensics, insolvency, tax planning structures, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, business contracts, raising finance, strategic planning, succession planning.
