One Day Workshop
Delivered by OAK Conflict Dynamics Ltd
3rd June 2015: Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire (9.30am – 5pm)
‘Research suggests that managers spend up to a third of their time managing conflict. We believe that conflict is the single most reducible cost in any company and the least recognised.’
This one day workshop is designed to increase your self awareness about how you deal with conflict and to learn new skills with which to manage it more effectively, when it does occur. Poorly managed conflict can have a serious consequence on business leading to, poor performance, low morale, a negative working environment, stress, litigation and derailed business opportunities. Managed well, these consequences can be minimised and avoided.
Participants will be required to complete an online Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP) assessment in advance of the workshop. This is a self reporting assessment which provides a profile to the user of what ‘triggers’ them into conflict and an analysis of their responses. This information is then used to develop key conflict management skills and an individual development plan for each participant.
Each participant who completes the CDP will be provided with an individual feedback report which will be provided confidentially to them during the workshop.
Participants will gain:
This is a highly interactive and participative one day workshop which utilises self reflection, skill building exercises, discussion, role play and skills practices. Each participant also receives a comprehensive workbook to record and supplement their workshop learning.
This workshop should be attended by employers, managers, supervisors, HR professionals, solicitors and other conflict management professionals who wish to develop their conflict management skills and competence.
